Affordable Fashion Fridays – March 24th, 2017

I thought it would be fun to start a new weekly post focusing on affordable fashion (nothing ever over $100)!

I have always been a bargain hunter and believe strongly that you don’t have to spend your entire paycheck to look amazing.

In my past I was all about quantity over quality, the more $10 tops I had the better. Then I had a moment of feeling like only brand names were worth my time and money (hello, $200 jeans). But alas, that lifestyle simply is not attainable for the average woman.

Now I have settled somewhere in between. I want quality pieces that won’t fall a part after one wash, but I also don’t want to spend the equivalent of my monthly mortgage to keep up with the trends.

I know you are all savvy chicks as well, so I hope you appreciate these weekly posts focusing on cute and affordable pieces. Let me know what you think and if you want to see more posts like this!

I love shopping at places like TJ Maxx and Marshalls, but unfortunately their inventory is rarely identical across stores, so I will be focusing on places that you can easily find awesome pieces in store or online!

Let me know what you think 🙂

Since it’s officially Spring I thought a great place to start with Affordable Fashion Fridays would be with this adorable Spring dress from Target.

It is a steal at only $27.99. I love that it is longer than your standard spring dress, but has high slits to add a little sex appeal. The high neckline also keeps it balanced and leaves a little to the imagination.

The mustard yellow color would look amazing with a tan (something I can only dream of), but would compliment nearly all skin tones.

Even the back has pretty lace up detail making it feel extra special.

I would wear it with some cute and simple sandals  (like these ones under $25) or wedges. In chilly weather a shrunken denim jacket (like this one under $50) would pair with it perfectly.

It may be a little much for Easter Sunday with the family, but it would be perfect for a date night with someone special!
